About Us
The Viroqua Area Hockey Association (VAHA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing hockey, developing young athletes, and providing a place for our community to enjoy the ice.
VAHA owns and operates the Viroqua Community Arena and provides hockey and skating opportunities for youth and adults throughout Viroqua and the surrounding communities.
From a child's first time on skates to competitive youth and high school hockey, our goal is to create opportunities for players to learn, grow, compete, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love for the game.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Viroqua Area Hockey Association is to offer a program that will provide opportunities and support for boys and girls to learn ice hockey and life long skills including the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, hard work, respect for others, self control and motivation necessary for youth to mature.
The Viroqua Area Hockey Association strives to continue its partnership of support with the Viroqua Area Schools for the Viroqua High School Co-op Hockey Teams.
The goal of the Viroqua Area Hockey Association is to operate the Viroqua Community Arena as one of the elite arenas of its type in the State of Wisconsin. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards to ensure the Viroqua and surrounding communities have a great place for all kids and adults to play and grow.

MORE THAN HOCKEY
VAHA is more than the teams that take the ice. We're a community of players, parents, coaches, volunteers, alumni, sponsors, and supporters working together to make hockey accessible and create a great experience for local families.
Our association depends on volunteers at every level—from coaching and team support to fundraising, events, arena operations, and association leadership.
HOW VAHA WORKS
VAHA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Directors elected by association members. Committees and member volunteers work alongside the Board to support our programs, events, fundraising, arena operations, and continued growth.
