Required Volunteering and Fundraising
Each youth hockey family is required to complete 20 volunteer hours annually to help support arena operations, fundraisers and events.
Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. Required hours must be completed by April 30 and submitted by June 30.

Yes. Each youth hockey family is required to complete 20 volunteer hours per year.
What Counts as volunteer hours?
Things that count
- Concessions
- Fun Night (collecting donations, ticket sales, setup, cleanup and event shifts)
- Helping with home tournaments
- Food Booths @ Antique Tractor Show & Vernon County Fair
Things that don't count
- Scorekeeping
- Penalty Box
- Time Clock
What happens if we didn't complete enough hours?
Uncompleted volunteer hours are billed at $20 per hour.

Keep track of your volunteer hours throughout the season using the Volunteer Form below.
Completed forms must be submitted by June 30. Forms may be placed in the collection box in the arena lobby or mailed to:

HOW DO I FIND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES?
Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. Check Thunder Central regularly for current volunteer opportunities and sign-ups. Additional opportunities may also be shared by your team parent representative or through the arena office.
