Withdrawal Notice

Teams that need to withdraw from the tournament must submit written notice to the Tournament Director at least 30 days before the tournament start date (on or before December 23, 2026). Notice must be submitted by email to:

Refund Eligibility

• Refunds are issued only if the withdrawing team's roster spot can be filled by another paying team, either from the waitlist or a new registration.
• If a replacement team is found, the withdrawing team will receive a full refund of their $850 team fee. No service or administrative fee will be withheld.
• If no replacement team can be found, no refund will be issued, regardless of when notice was given.
• Withdrawals submitted within 30 days of the tournament start date (after December 23, 2026) are not eligible for a refund under any circumstance.

Tournament Cancellation

If Viroqua Thunder Youth Hockey cancels the tournament for any reason (including but not limited to weather, insufficient team registration, or facility unavailability), all registered teams will receive a full refund of their team fee.

How to Request a Withdrawal

• Email the Tournament Director (contact above) with your team name, division, and requested withdrawal date.
• Requests are time-stamped upon receipt; the 30-day window is measured from this date.
• You will be notified in writing once a replacement team has been confirmed and your refund has been processed.
