Thunder Mites

Our Mite program introduces young athletes to the exciting world of hockey in a fun, inclusive, and development-focused environment. Open to boys and girls ages 8 and under, this co-ed program emphasizes skating, puck skills, teamwork, and confidence-building through age-appropriate instruction and lots of on-ice activity.

With experienced coaches who know how to connect with young players, we focus on creating a positive first experience with hockey. Players enjoy regular practices, small-area games, and local jamborees designed to maximize puck touches, learning, and fun.

At VAHA, we believe in nurturing a love for the game from the very beginning. Our Mite program is where future hockey players develop their skills, make friends, and start building the foundation for a lifelong passion for the sport.
